Materials and Methods: :In a quasi-experimental study first semester nursing students (n=51) were divided randomly into two groups, control group were taught by case study and experimental group were taught by simulation . Before the education and 10 days after, drug calculation test were completed by the students.
Results: The average scores of the two groups before training using independent t-test showed no significant difference(p>.05) but after training the difference was significant (p<.05).
Conclusion: simulation versus case study method were increase students' skills and reducing errors in drug calculation .
