Background and objective: The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the performance of nonprofit higher education institutes and universities by Balanced Score Card (BSC) and Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM). Materials and Methods: A descriptive method is used in the study. A new model is implemented for ranking the institutes. Research population include 21 faculty members selected by random sampling. Data was collected by 3 separate questioners, analyzed by SPSS software, and weighted by Team Expert Choice software. Results: The results of this research showed that in non-profit institutes of higher education the most important criteria include higher income, credibility and number of students accepted for higher education. Conclusion: Our model can be used for ranking higher education institutes in Iran.
