fa ارزیابی مقایسه ای برنامه‌ی جدید دروس ارتودنسی با برنامه‌ی درسی قدیم از دیدگاه اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه‌های منتخب کشور Comparative Evaluation of the New and Previous Orthodontic Curriculum from the Viewpoints of the Faculty Members in the Selected Universities of Iran آموزش پزشکی Medical Education پژوهشي اصیل Orginal Research زمینه و هدف:  ارزیابی برنامهی درسی یکی از فرایند های  مهم در روند آموزش می باشد که توسط آن می توان نیازهای کلینیکی دانشجویان را برآورده کرد. هدف از این مطالعه مقایسـهی برنامه های درسی جدید و قدیم ارتودنسی از دیدگاه اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاههای منتخب کشور میباشد. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی، پرسشنامه ای شامل 28 سوال بین 50 نفر از اعضای هیات علمی بخش ارتودنسی  دانشکدههای دندانپزشکی دانشگاههای علوم پزشکی تهران، شهید بهشتی، قزوین، آزاد تهران، تبریز، اصفهان، ارومیه و آزاد خوراسگان اصفهان توزیع شد. یافتهها:  از دید اعضای هیات علمی مهمترین نقاط قوت کوریکولوم جدید عبارت بودند از: افزودن مباحث " مشکلات رویشی دندانها" ، "توجه به اطلاعات و اصول کنترل عفونت" ، جابجایی  مبحث "تشخیص، اصول معاینات کلینیکی، تهیه ابزار و وسایل، قالب گیری، محاسبات مدلهای ارتودنسی و آنالیز فتوگرافی"  . مهمترین نقاط ضعف نیز شامل موارد زیر بود : حذف مباحث" فلسفه ، هدف و زمان درمان و طرح ریزی درمان در دوره های  مختلف رویش دندانی" ، "متد های بررسی رشد و نمو جمجمه" ، "شکافهای دهان و صورت شامل طبقه بندی و مورفولوژی و نحوهی تشکیل و درمان آن". نتیجهگیری : تغییرات برنامهی درسی ارتودنسی از دیدگاه اعضای هیات علمی دانشکدههای دندانپزشکی بدون اشکال نمیباشد. لذا استفاده از نتایج این تحقیق میتواند موجب اصلاحات بیشتر نقاط ضعف برنامهی درسی ارتودنسی گردد. Background and Objective: The curriculum assessment is one of the main processes which can identify the clinical needs of students. The purpose of this study is to compare the evaluation of the new and previous orthodontic curriculum from the viewpoints of the faculty members in the selected universities of Iran. Materials and methods: In this cross-sectional-description study ,The questionnaire consists of 28 questions distributed between 50 faculty members of orthodontic department of dentistry faculties of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti, Qazvin, Azad university of Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, Urumiyeh  and Azad university of Khorasgan. The data were analysed by a SPSS software. Results: From faculty members point of view of in the order of priority , the most important strengths of new Curriculum were the followings:Adding  the cases of "eruption problems of teeth", " paying attention to the information and principles of infection control,", the movement of “detection topic, principles of clinical examination, provision of instruments, impression, calculating the  models of orthodontic and photographic analysis " respectively, The main weak points in order of priority were these: eliminating “the purpose and duration of treatment and orthodontic treatment planning in different periods of teeth eruption” and ” the  assessment methods of skull growth and development  ”, ” mouth and face clefts including classification, morphology and formation of orthodontic treatment” .
