fa آیا اولویت انتخاب رشته دستیاران پزشکی پذیرفته شده دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز با نیازهای جامعه همخوانی دارد؟ آموزش پزشکی Medical Education پژوهشي اصیل Orginal Research زمینه و هدف: انتخاب رشته تخصصی توسط دستیاران اهمیت زیادی در ترکیب کادر پزشکی مورد نیاز در سیستم بهداشتی درمانی برای پاسخگویی به نیازهای جامعه دارد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی رابطه بین اولویت انتخاب رشته دستیاران پزشکی پذیرفته شده در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز با نیاز جامعه انجام شد. روش بررسی: این مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی در سال 1392 روی 389 دستیار پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور انجام شد. اطلاعات فردی دستیاران، اولویت انتخابی و عوامل موثر در انتخاب رشته بوسیله پرسشنامه گردآوری شد. در یک مطالعه مقدماتی روایی و پایایی پرسشنامه بررسی و تایید شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از روش های آمار توصیفی و تحلیلی با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS استفاده شد. یافته ها: بطور کلی از 389 دستیار تعداد 219 نفر(48%) زن و تعداد 92 نفر( 5/24%) مجرد با میانگین سنی 8/4±‌‌‌‌‌‌‌68/34 بودند. اولویت انتخابی دستیاران زن عبارت بودند از رادیولوژی، زنان و زایمان و قلب ؛ و برای دستیاران مرد به ترتیب رادیولوژی، قلب و ارتوپدی بودند. در مجموع رادیولوژی(5/20%) و قلب (8/17%) و چشم پزشکی(2/9%) مهم ترین اولویت را داشتند. آزمون مجذور کای نشان داد که در برخی موارد بین اولویت های انتخابی دستیاران و ظرفیت پذیرش رشته های تخصصی تفاوت معنی داری مشاهده شد(05/0p<). همچنین بین اولویت های انتخاب تخصص دستیاران زن و مرد در برخی موارد تفاوت معنی داری وجود داشت. نتیجه گیری: شناسایی اولویت انتخاب رشته توسط دستیاران پزشکی می تواند تمایل به رشته های مختلف و همچنین توزیع کادر پزشکی در جامعه را مشخص نماید. یافته های این مطالعه اطلاعات مهمی برای مدیران بهداشت و درمان فراهم می آورد تا آنان با توجه به نیاز جامعه دانشجویان را برای انتخاب رشته های مورد نیاز راهنمایی و تشویق کنند. Background and objective: Residents’ specialty choices have a direct impact on the health care workforce and the future supply of physician manpower. This study carried out to assess preferences choices of medical residents’ and society needs in Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 389 medical residents in 2013. Data on participants’ demographics, specialty selected and factors in specialty selection were collected using a questionnaire. Validity and reliability of the questionnaires were confirmed. The data was analyzed by descriptive and analytical tests using SPSS software. Results: In total, 389 medical residents participated in this study, average residents age was 34.68±4.8, 48% were women and 24.5% were singled. The priorities in female participants were Radiology, Gynecology and Cardiology and in male were Radiology, Cardiology and Orthopedist. Overall, Radiology (20.5%) Cardiology (17.8%) and Ophthalmology (9.2%) were the most favored specialty choices. According chi-square test gender was significantly associated with specialty choice. Chi-square test showed significant differences in preference specialty choice between male and female specialize in some fields.Statistically significant differences were seen between the priorities of specialty choice of medical residents and the capacity of specialized fields (p<0.05). Conclusion: Knowing the medical residents’ preferences of the various specialties could help in understanding the Mal distribution of physicians among the various specialties.
