en آموزش پزشکی Medical Education پژوهشي اصیل Orginal Research <span style="line-height:2;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><b><span lang="FR">Background & Objective:</span></b><span lang="FR"> The background of this research study involves past studies that highlight the struggle of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study outlines the challenges faced by dental students during the Covid-19 pandemic and highlights the struggles of dental students at Taibah University in Saudi Arabia regarding the implementation of a new curriculum that includes a three-semester system. Additionally, it explores the students&#39; perspectives on the abrupt curriculum changes and the strategies they developed to adapt to these adjustments.</span><br> <b><span lang="FR">Materials & Methods:</span></b> <span lang="FR">The methodology used in this study involved thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with ten students from the dental college at the university.</span><br> <b><span lang="FR">Results:</span></b> <span lang="FR">The findings of this study showed that most of the dental students of Taibah University were not satisfied with the introduction of the new curriculum system.<b> </b></span><br> <b><span lang="FR">Conclusion:</span></b><span lang="FR"> The study recommends that any curriculum changes should be communicated effectively with both teachers and students to ensure that the new curriculum aligns with student needs.
