fa پژوهشي اصیل Orginal Research <div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height:2;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span calibri=""><b><span new="" roman="" times="">Introduction:</span></b> <span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times="">Pharmacology is an important part of nursing students &#39;education, but current program do not provide sufficient opportunities to enhance students&#39; knowledge and skills in pharmacology.</span></span> <span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times="">The aim of this study was to determine the effect of blended education on nursing students&#39; learning and educational climate in pharmacology internship.</span></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""></span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span calibri=""><b><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">Methods:</span></span></b><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">This quasi-experimental study was performed on 30 undergraduate nursing students with a pharmacology internship course in 1400 at Jahrom University of Medical Sciences.</span></span></span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">All students participated in an </span></span></span><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">8</span></span><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">-session internship through blended education </span></span></span><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">(e-learning and traditional education)</span></span></span><span lang="EN"><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">.</span></span></span></span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">At the beginning and end of the internship, the familiarity with the educational objectives was measured using a researcher-made questionnaire by self-assessment method.</span></span></span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">Also, </span></span><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">summative and formative evaluation score were used to assess students&#39; learning.</span></span></span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">At the end of the internship, the educational climate was assessed using the DREEM questionnaire.</span></span></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""></span></span></span><br> <span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span calibri=""><b><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">Results:</span></span></span></b><span lang="EN"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span style="background:yellow"><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">paired</span></span></span></span><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> t-test showed a significant difference in the mean score of</span></span></span><span lang="EN"><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> achieving educational goals before and after the course </span></span></span></span><span lang="EN"><span style="background:red"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">(t= 6.36, P < 0.001).</span></span></span></span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span lang="EN"><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">The mean scores of summative (83.66 </span></span></span></span><span dir="RTL" lang="FA"><span style="background:yellow"><span cambria=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">&plusmn;</span></span></span></span><span lang="EN"><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> 7.51) and formative evaluation (83.26</span></span></span></span><span dir="RTL" lang="FA"><span style="background:yellow"><span cambria=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">&plusmn;</span></span></span></span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;"> </span><span lang="EN"><span style="background:yellow"><span new="" roman="" times=""><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">7.09) out of 100 were reported.
