fa نگرش دانشجویان پزشکی واساتید زبان انگلیسی نسبت به کتاب زبان تخصصی پزشکی؛ چالشها و کاربردهای ضمنی برای اساتید دروس زبان تخصصی دانشگاهی آموزش Education پژوهشي اصیل Orginal Research <p align="right"> <strong> زمینه و هدف: </strong>. کتاب ­ ها و مطالب آموزشی زبان تخصصی را شاید بتوان مهم ­ ترین رکن در برنامه ­ی آموزش زبان انگلیسی با اهداف دانشگاهی در ایران درنظرگرفت. بنابراین ، ارزیابی آن ­ ها می ­ تواند به شناسایی نقاط ضعف وقوت آن ­ ها کمک کرده ، وباعث ارتقای کیفیت آن ­ ها شود. هدف این مطالعه بررسی نگرش ­ های دانشجویان پزشکی و اساتید زبان انگلیسی نسبت به کتاب زبان تخصصی پزشکی و همچنین بررسی چالش ­ هایی بود که در حیطه ­ی آموزش و یادگیری زبان وجودداشته است. </p><p align="right"> <strong> روش بررسی </strong><strong>: </strong>به منظور انجام این مطالعه 175 دانشجوی رشته ­ی پزشکی و 25 تن از اساتید زبان انگلیسی از چهاردانشگاه پزشکی کشور(دانشگاه تهران، دانشگاه شهید بهشتی تهران، دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی تهران، ودانشگاه زنجان)انتخاب شدند.برای جمع آوری اطلاعات ازپرسش نامه و مصاحبه استفاده گردید. آزمون آماری مورد استفاده آزمونهای T-test و MANOVA بودند. </p><p align="right"> <strong> یافته ها </strong><strong>: </strong>نتایج مطالعه ­ ی آماری نشان داد که تفاوت معناداری بین نگرش دانشجویان و اساتید نسبت به کتاب زبان تخصصی پزشکی وجود نداشت، ولی تفاوت معناداری بین نگرش آن ­ ها نسبت به شش جنبه ­ ی مختلف کتاب وجود داشت. نتایج مصاحبه هم نشان داد که کلاس ­ های پرجمعیت، نبود کتب مناسب نیاز فراگیران، نبوداهداف مشخص درحیطه ­ ی زبان تخصصی، وکمبود زمان ازبزرگترین چالش ­ های دانشجویان پزشکی و اساتید زبان بود. </p><p align="right"> <strong> نتیجه­ گیری : </strong>یافته ­ های این پژوهش نشان داد که اگرچه نگرش ­ های مثبتی نسبت به کتاب وجود دارد، ولی بیشتر اساتید، آن را برای آموزش زبان تخصصی کافی نمی ­ دانند. به ­ علاوه آن ­ ها بر این عقیده ­ اند که، تعداد دانشجویان در کلاس ­ ها باید کاهش یابد، اهداف آموزش زبان در حیطه ­ی پزشکی مشخص شود وسپس بر اساس آن اهداف، مطالب درسی مناسب نیاز یادگیرندگان فراهم گردد </p> Background and objective: EAP textbooks and materials are probably the most important elements in our academic English courses in Iran. Therefore, their evaluation can help to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and hence, to improve their quality. The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions of EFL instructors and medical students of their EAP textbook. It was also an attempt to find out about the challenges they may face in their teaching and learning contexts. Materials and Methods: To conduct this study, we selected 175 medical students and 25 EFL instructors from four medical universities (Tehran University, Shahid-Beheshti University, Tehran Islamic-Azad University, and Zanjan University). The instruments for gathering data were a questionnaire and interviews. Statistical t-test and MANOVA were used for analyzing the data. Results: The quantitative analyses showed that there was no significant difference between the students' and EFL instructors’ perceptions of their EAP textbook. However, there were significant differences between their perceptions of six different aspects of the textbook. Moreover, the qualitative data showed that overcrowded classes, lack of appropriate materials to the learners’ needs, lack of clear objectives in the EAP context, and shortage of time were the major challenges instructors and students are faced with. Conclusion: Although there were positive perceptions of the textbook, most of the instructors did not think that it was enough for an EAP course.
