The Journal of Medical Education Development is a non-profit, open-access journal that does not charge authors any fee for submitting or publishing papers. The full text for all papers is available immediately after acceptance. In 1999, the announced journal was one of the first journals published in Persian in medical education by Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education. We launched the journal to strengthen research and educational innovation in Iran. In 2017, the journal expanded its scope to become an international English-language journal. Today, the journal is international in all aspects, including readers, authors, and editorial staff. The journal's editorial board consists of a group of experts and specialists in different fields with significant experience in medical education.

The Journal of Medical Education Development serves as a premier platform for advancing medical education research, innovation, and best practices.
